Zack Greinke and Chris Archer are clearly the top two pitchers, though with Archer starting in Baltimore, he carries a certain amount of risk. Amir Garrett and Jason Vargas will be popular picks, as both have sub-2.00 ERAs and decent matchups, but as we saw with James Paxton and Andrew Triggs last week, those types of hot-starters can be due for a beating and give back a lot of runs all at once....

An interesting case today is Cleveland’s Mike Clevinger, who has solid numbers (3.89/1.16, 10.2 K/9 ratio) but has been in the minors for the better part of the past two weeks. A matchup against Baltimore isn’t ideal, but don’t let Clevinger’s recent “call-up” deter you from taking a chance on him. Seattle’s Andrew Moore will be making his MLB debut tonight after pitching well at Triple-A this year (3.19/0.96, 8....

The pitching slate is loaded today with no fewer than six true aces taking the mound. Jake Arrieta is the top pitching choice tonight coming off his second career no-hitter. The fact that he’s the only legitimate ace going tonight only strengthens his case. However, I have my doubts about using him for several reasons. First, pitchers coming off of a no-hitter tend to struggle in their next outings. With three matchups on the board, we find it is easiest to pick out the top producers and values, as there are far fewer variables involved and less ways things can go wrong for your lineup picks. It doesn’t hurt that all three games are being played in domed stadiums this year, either. So, our advice is to load up and play on the greatest day of the year....

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says Dak Prescott, who has a $630,000 base salary this season, is “going to get extended,” and the timetable is the upcoming offseason when the QB will have one year left on his rookie contract. The tweet from the Mavs’ PR team includes a statement from Cuban, explaining why the organization had decided not to play the national anthem at any of the team’s home games so far this season. “We respect and have always respected the passion people have for the anthem and our country,” Cuban said in his statement. “But we also loudly hear the voices of those who feel that the anthem does not represent them....

Cook went down with an injury after fumbling on a carry. Minnesota’s rusher was initially stood up just past the line of scrimmage, and a handful of defenders closed in to bring him down while Cook kept churning his legs. It’s not obvious from the sideline camera where exactly Cook’s injury occurred, but he remained on the ground in pain before being helped off. The Vikings announced Cook as probable to return to Sunday’s game after suffering what was deemed an ankle injury, and the very next play following the announcement, Cook had returned....

The Trail Blazers guard appeared on CSN Northwest’s postgame show Wednesday night and shared his thoughts on the UA Curry Lux “Oxblood Leather."
