Tuesday, Lillard dropped a new track — “Talk To Em” — that could get him closer to scoring a deal. He already has more than 4.5 million plays on his SoundCloud page and is considered the best rapper in a league full of them. He’s been independently releasing music on SoundCloud since last July.

Lillard’s agent said he’ll wait until the summer to move on any record deal, and after a season in which the Blazers outperformed expectations, he certainly deserves some time off and proper representation.
Lillard tweeted this out during the Thunder’s Game 4 beatdown of the Warriors on Tuesday night. Here’s to hoping it turns into a Golden State diss track.
