Earnhardt revealed the Axalta paint scheme on his No. 88 on Wednesday in Las Vegas. Axalta, a former sponsor of Jeff Gordon’s No. 24, will be the primary sponsor for Earnhardt for 13 Sprint Cup races in 2016.

The red and yellow scheme is a far cry from his neon green Mountain Dew car and the blue and white Nationwide scheme, but it’s unlikely a new look will knock Earnhardt from his position as the sports’ most popular driver.
